This painting was created to emphasize the importance of raising awareness of the current climate change emergency. I felt how this problem brings people together when I attended Extinction Rebellion in Paris. I was inspired by the amazing themes of the Renaissance paintings that I was lucky to see in museums in Italy. In my painting, the horseman represents all of Humanity. Guided by the relentless pursuit of progress and comfort, he leads Nature to death, notlooking in the future. The white horse is a symbol of Nature. Which does not have the ability to resist the will of Man. Carbon dioxide emitted by factories and vehicles is the flip side of technological progress. The growth of the power of civilization promises not only benefits. Aren't these obvious signs of change of the natural world does not show us that it is time to take action? I always pay special attention to the process of stretching the canvas onto the stretcher and the materials I use. To create this painting, I used a durable Italian primed canvas and a massive wooden stretcher with adjustable tension. The edges of the painting are gallery wrapped (no staples) and painted white, so no frame is required. Ready to hang on your wall straight away with wire attached. To protect the painting from ultraviolet rays, I covered the paint layer with a professional Satin Varnish. Painting will be sent in the museum quality travel crate to allow for safe transport.

Art is that power which helps me keep dreaming and never give up. All my life, as I remember myself, I preferred drawing to all other activities. At first I studied at an art school, then at a lyceum at the Academy of Arts. In 2009, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in architecture. The knowledge gained helped me broaden my horizons. As an architect, I was lucky to take part in the archaeological expeditions of the Hermitage on ancient and medieval monuments. I worked for several years in architectural studios, including as the main architect of the project. Although working as an architect brought me financial stability, I always knew for sure that I have always been, am and will be an artist. So, since 2013, I became a full-time artist. All the people in my environment tell me that I need to get a real job to guarantee a secure future. But I believe that you can succeed in any business, if this is really your passion.
