This work is part of my 'One Tree' series. In this work my focus is on creating an overall mood. Through nature and one tree, I represent human situations and emotions. To me this painting symbolizes trusting that there can always be renewed hope, and an opportunity to begin again. There will always be days full of beauty and light. New Hope is vibrant and alive with wonder. The sides have been carefully painted in a wrap around effect as I feel this finishes the work and makes it ready for immediate display. There is no need to frame unless it is your personal preference. This work will also come wired for your convenience. The painting is signed on the front and is numbered on the back. The work will be safely shipped and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Thank you for visiting my gallery.

Inspired by light, color, and nature. Inspired by light, color, and nature. Elizabeth realized at a very young age that art and creating was her passion, her calling. Graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, she commenced working at an advertising agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Elizabeth enjoyed city life, but an opportunity arose to travel across Canada and throughout the United States with fellow artists. This adventure provided her with invaluable artistic insights and enriching life experiences. Upon return to Ontario, Canada, she settled out of the city to a smaller town in Northern Ontario. Here Elizabeth started up a successful illustration studio called, Illustratus. Elizabeth displayed her artistic diversity by creating illustrations and design for businesses such as Pet Smart as well as fine art commissions for collectors such as NHL hockey players. Several years later, on a meditation retreat in New York, United States, a momentous event occurred in Elizabeth's life. It was a time of deep introspection. This profoundly shifted her artistic focus from fine detail work to painting with a sense of freedom; uninhibited. Elizabeth now paints with an expressive vigor, aspiring to rouse an awakening or emotion in her viewer. Elizabeth's work has been exhibited in Northern Ontario, Toronto, Ontario, Vancouver, and Victoria, British Columbia. Her work has also been featured in several magazines. Most recently, Elizabeth's work was featured in 'Women in Art 278' magazine and Art Quench Magazine's, Masters Edition. Elizabeth's themes are those that resonate with her inner passions and reflect her deep appreciation for artistic exploration. Spontaneous inspiration often bring her into the studio for 8 to 15 hour days. Even driving down a country road and seeing a breathtaking field of sunflowers or viewing the way light sparkles on a koi pond can spark an abstract art idea, for Elizabeth, inspiration is everywhere. Artist's Statement: To me art is everything. I have been painting my whole life. I take my inspiration from nature. I express my love for our earth, and every living creature on it; plant and animal, through my paintings. Always striving to make an impact and leave the observer of my work in awe. Exciting things are happening in the studio. Recently I find my strong attraction to abstract painting guiding my direction. My focus is on exploring, Abstract-Expressionism with spontaneity, personal expression, and freedom.
