About The Artwork
I created this painting to evoke the scene of New Orleans wrapped in fog as seen from the river. I saturated rice paper with several watercolor washes and applied bits of wax paper to create texture while it dried. After dry, I used book binding glue to adhere the rice paper to 300 lb watercolor paper, and then used chalk to give a little texture and definition.
