Dominik Robert Brunner "I am not interested in the destination, but in the journey" The young talented artist Dominik Robert Brunner is an insider tip in the art scene! At auctions, his works achieve prices of over € 18,000.00. You can be sure that you will hear and see a lot from him in the future. Born in Fürth (Bavaria) in 1990, he grew up in a nearby village in a sheltered family home. This environment has left a lasting mark on him. When he talks about his childhood and youth, his eyes light up: sitting around the campfire with friends, enjoying the moment without thinking about the future ... He associates the memory of this time with the terms fun, joy in life, with the Feeling of freedom. Since early childhood, nature has been of central importance to him: as a place to let off steam, gain strength and inspiration. When asked how he got into art, a smile appears on his face: "Actually, I was really bad at art in school." But that changed suddenly in the 6th grade. There was the project in art: “Build your dream house”. Dominik Robert was so enthusiastic about the project that he “built” a house, his dream home, with full dedication and hours of detailed work. A house with several floors. And during the construction he felt: “This is mine.” From the 7th grade onwards, it was his dream job to become a technical draftsman: to create something on paper, accurately and, if possible, three-dimensional - this idea fascinates him. Although Dominik Robert Brunner would have liked to become a chef, he decided to train as a wholesale and retail salesman. Initially, he worked for a company that manufactured equipment for large companies. He also worked in a nursery, which he switched to after completing his training. The room design with plants gave him pleasure. During this time, when Dominik Robert was 17, his best friend at the time gave him a set of oil paints. Dominik Robert has started to paint - "extremely abstract", as he calls it. Professionally, Dominik Robert changes to a furniture store. There he also took on bare management responsibility. There he could only be a little creative. He finds the balance in growing vegetables and herbs and in cooking. The death of his grandfather in April 2016 was a decisive experience for Dominik.

Sie können sicher sein, dass Sie in Zukunft noch viel von ihm hören bzw. sehen werden. 1990 in Fürth (Bayern) geboren, ist er in einem Dorf in der Nähe in einem behüteten Elternhaus aufgewachsen. Diese Umgebung hat ihn nachhaltig geprägt. Wenn er von seiner Kindheit und Jugendzeit erzählt, leuchten seine Augen: mit Kumpeln am Lagerfeuer sitzen, den Moment genießen, ohne an die Zukunft zu denken... Er verbindet die Erinnerung an diese Zeit mit den Begriffen Spaß, Freude am Leben, mit dem Gefühl von Freiheit. Von zentraler Bedeutung für ihn ist seit frühester Kindheit die Natur: als Ort des Austobens, des Kraftschöpfens und der Inspiration. Bei der Frage, wie er zur Kunst gekommen ist, erscheint ein Lächeln auf seinem Gesicht: „Eigentlich war ich in der Schule in Kunst total schlecht.“ Doch das änderte sich schlagartig in der 6. Klasse. Da gab es in Kunst das Projekt: „Bau dein Traumhaus“. Das Projekt begeisterte Dominik Robert derart, dass er mit voller Hingabe in vielen Stunden detaillierter Arbeit ein Haus, sein Traumhaus „baute“. Ein Haus mit mehreren Stockwerken. Und während des Bauens hat er gespürt: „Das ist meines.“ Ab der 7. Klasse war es sein Traumberuf, technischer Zeichner zu werden: etwas zu schaffen auf dem Papier, akkurat und wenn möglich drei-dimensional – diese Vorstellung faszinierte ihn. Obwohl Dominik Robert Brunner gerne Koch geworden wäre, hat er sich für die Ausbildung zum Groß- und Einzelhandelskaufmann entschieden. Zunächst war er in einem Unternehmen beschäftigt, das Einrichtungen für große Unternehmen hergestellt hat. Nebenbei hat er in einer Gärtnerei gearbeitet, wohin er nach der Ausbildung gewechselt hat. Die Raumgestaltung mit Pflanzen hat ihm Freude bereitet. In dieser Zeit, Dominik Robert war damals 17, hat ihm seine damalige beste Freundin ein Set mit Ölfarben geschenkt. Dominik Robert hat begonnen, zu malen – „extrem abstrakt“, wie er es nennt. Beruflich wechselte Dominik Robert zu einem Möbelhaus . Dort hat er auch bald Führungsverantwortung übernommen. Dort konnte er nur noch ein wenig kreativ sein. Den Ausgleich fand er im Gemüse-, Kräuteranbau und im Kochen. Der Tod seines Großvaters im April 2016 war für Dominik ein einschneidendes Erlebnis.
