About The Artwork
This work was created during a trip through Hungary. After a few days of rest and relaxation, I woke up one night with this picture in my mind. With the simplest means and the colors I brought with me, I realized it in a few steps. It symbolizes depth, mystical vitality, femininity, fertility, security in the dark and amazement. My inspirations were: Mother Earth at night, volcanic energy, being connected to the earth, burgeoning life in the dark, realizing nighttime dreams... The entire expression of this work is of mysterious depth. Painting on firm cardboard, which is mounted on a wooden panel framed at the bottom when it is sold. (See sample image) The sides of the work are also painted and there are professionally countersunk eyelets on the back so the work can be hung up immediately.
