About The Artwork
What interests me is not giving something to look at but rather allowing the possibility to remain suspended in the act of observing. The perception of time is seen as something that appears and disappears, discontinuosly, as my perception of the visible, as my being in the world. The landscape is thus a function of time. This painting has been painted in both front and retro face, so what the spectator see in the front side is the result of the dialogue between what i paint in front and the paint in the retro face which came up in front. This dispositive of work permit that arise something i do not control completely. What interest me is the oscillation between control and case.
