"Night violet" from the series "Night blossoms" Painting

Hi art lovers, I am happy to introduce my works and to share with you my joy and inspiration, the world of dreams, images, bright colours, splashes of golden fountains and gleams of ice hills, scents of cherry gardens and whispers of night blossoms. I am a self-taught artist living in the Netherlands, in the beautiful province Limburg. My works are pure fantasy and fusion, combination of realism and impressionism, inspired by the nature, people, events, all the gorgeous places I have ever seen. I was born in Russia (before it was Soviet Union), in a Russian-Ukrainian family of a captain of a submarine and a forestry engineer. We have lived in many different regions, among other places we lived long time in the North (Kola Peninsular). Since then I love severe Northern landscapes, silver ice and shining white snow. I have traveled a lot, worked 8 years in Dubai, since 2004 I am residing permanently in the Netherlands. I have found my second Motherland here. All my life I have had a passion for painting, hoping one day to make it my second profession. After a busy day in the customs brokerage world (numbers,and precision, regulations and taxes), it is a miracle to jump into the magic world of living paints, where everything is spontaneous, where the colours and brushes live their own life, create the painting themselves, and where you have little control over what final result might be.
