Born in 1966 in Athens, Greece. I have always been fascinated by the scientific quest for knowledge and the possibility to express ideas in form and colour. So after studies in Physics I decided to also study Painting, as I like to work independently and alone.My artworks set off from images I see in nature but are reconstituted within me, so that they depict imaginary esoteric landscapes. They are labyrinthine forests, which represent states of mind. They evolve from impassable dark mazes to bright oases, in a depiction of a journey from darkness towards light, in a life that nevertheless remains complicated.
