About The Artwork
I think Nostalgia means that human life can be said to be nature and life together. So, I want to show that Nostalgia is when we are impressed by natural scenery. The empty of space of artwork presents eternity. The theme of my artwork is firstly the “aesthetics of empty”, the impression that arts gives. The aesthetics of radish are as simple expressions of reality, as if they were the expression of the underlying reality of the space and the material of the universe in the universe behind the existence of that reality, I try to analyze the real existence and express as a structural molecule. The expression method of the work is repeating the pattern like the printmaking method of Japanese painting (Ukiyo-e Technique) and excluding the contrast and expressing the projected colors at the back of the things due to the light like Korean folk painting method. It was expressed in the method similar to that of the pop-arts.
