About The Artwork
Eye-grabbing and perfect for any music lover, Notes of Gold was created with acrylic on canvas with a secret recipe of ash, chalk, graphite, and oil pastel thrown in. I stretched the canvas myself and gallery-wrapped it onto thick stretcher bars. The edges are painted, so it doesn’t require framing. I worked a very long time on this one. Then I let it set 2 or 3 months, mulled it over, and decided to work it over some more. The result is a painting with great depth and detail. This painting is part of my music notes series.
