The Valley of Roses is located in central Bulgaria, between two mountain ranges. There is a special microclimate that will allow you to grow the famous Damask rose. November 2023 turned out to be unusually warm. I often went plein air. This watercolor was painted plein air, in the rays of the setting sun.
