About The Artwork
"Because it's $2015" is an original painting by Kyle MacDonald. It features Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doing some good ol' #CulturalAppropriation Yoga in front of 24 Sussex Drive (aka the Canadian White House). The painting features nice subtle touches such as being perfectly proportional to Canadian bank notes, the serial number references the prime minister's plan to legalize pot and the burgeoning 2015 teenager phrase "bae" is incorporated into things. The Prime Minister was unavailable for a nude modelling session so his “member” of parliament was modelled that on Lenny Kravitz that time he ripped his pants wide open on stage in front of a screaming crowd of thousands. This one-of-a-kind ORIGINAL painting is available now for the reasonable price of $2015 USD.
