I was recently asked to participate in an abstract floral show. I thought about a couple trips I've taken to Giverny, France, where I saw Claude Monet's waterlilies a few years ago. I can certainly understand his love of this place and why he wanted to paint it! It is my wish that looking at it, it transports you to a calm, quiet place and invokes a feeling of peace and serenity! This painting is done on gallery-wrapped canvas. The sides are painted a neutral medium brownish-grey so it will match any decor. It can be hung as is, or would work nicely with a float mount frame.

I am an artist from Nashville, Tennessee. I have been working in the music business, touring the world with musicians for the last 30 years. The extensive travel experience has provided endless inspiration for my art from all corners of the globe. While painting is my favorite form of expression, I also am an avid photographer and still dabble often in graphic design. I am a founding member of a small group of abstract painters called Contemporary Collective of Nashville. I have also been a member of the Nashville Artist Guild for several years. My work is featured in a few regional galleries, and has made its way into homes and corporate collections around the USA, Europe and Australia. Nearly every painting I do is on 1.5" deep gallery-wrapped canvas. The edges are always painted with a neutral color to compliment the painting, so they can be hung with or without a frame.
