O Cardeal e o tempo Painting

1976 - Campinas-SP, Brazil. Fabricius Nery lives and works in Campinas-SP, Brazil. He started his studies in arts at the master painter Egas Francisco's atelier in 2003 and studied free drawing at the Conservatory Carlos Gomes de Campinas in the same year. In 2005, he was invited to the collective exhibition "7x7" in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Campinas "José Pancetti" (MACC) and in 2009 he was awarded the acquisition prize of the 41st Contemporary Art Salon of Piracicaba, Brazil. He had his first solo exhibition, "Parallelogram", at Tennis Club of Campinas, in 2013. The artist works mainly with acrylic painting on canvas and graphite and charcoal on paper, exploring figurative and geometric elements, fragmented images and overlapping planes inspired by the cinematic language.
