About The Artwork

Being on a crest of the wave means that we've reached the highest peak and now we've got it all. On one hand it gaves us a sense of satisfaction and excitement, it's a moment of happiness. But on the other hand - we need to remember that it's just the moment and no wave stays on it's crest forever. So first important conclusion is - we need to cherish the moment, live it and be happy when we have such an occasion. But secondly - always remember about being a human and don't forget that the moment og glory could be very short and maybe tomorrow we will be under the wave. It's crucial not to change our relations with people and not to become too prideful in the moment of success. Because human relations are more permanent than crest of waves. Paiting size 50x60 cm Mounted on a stretcher frame, is reday to hang on the wall. Signed front and back, goes with the certificate of authenticity

Hanna Borowska is a mixed media artist based in Poland whose painitngs are in private collections in 3 countries - Belarus, Ukraine and Poland. She participated in group exhibitions nationally (years 2013-2018). Borowska believes that a piece of art is something that should be made by hand, not with electronic devices. She is convinced that living in the era of technology and virtual life is the reason why people often feel lost and lack of real warmth, kindness, affection. Hanna claims that traditional art is the best way to affect our mental condition, to help us feel like humans again. Her artworks are about our emotional life and inner world of views, fears, hopes and believes. Her painitngs are full of symbols, metaphors, spiritual references and hidden meanings. Borowska paints the world around us as a reflection of our psychological condition.
