Objekte und Raum I (Objects and Space I) Painting

This work was inspired by the digital world on the screen. The painting shows a reduction of the elements, with which the screen of the devices create the reality in themselves. Space, objects, light, shadows and color gradients give the spectator the sensation of the window to another reality. The objects there are perceived with many features such as for example size, location in the space and weight. The delusion of space and how the objects interact with each other creates a room that belongs to another reality, which we cannot inhabit. I try to represent something that exists somewhere else and that is like frozen in time. The rules of our reality don't apply to them, because they have their own time, their own world. Calm, elegant and subtle is the atmosphere there, a world without the human influence. This painting's process is what I call a "space construction" that is very common in the acrylic painting. In order to create the structure of space, I painted "from back to front". The background comes first and at last comes the finest and vivid elements to the front. The colors are selected so they contrast with each other in a very lightly form, therefore the perception of space and depth will be amplified. The style of the representation is more like realistic, although it is an abstract painting. Through this "contrast" I try to make the spectator realize that the difference between abstract and real is just a matter of perception. This work has been already exhibited two times in Germany in a group exhibition Fabrik45 (Bonn) and in a solo exhibition in Raum für Kunst und Natur (Bonn).
