My name is Anna Kwiecień, and I am an oil painter based in Poland. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember — my childhood was filled with drawings, paintings, and countless folders of ideas that I still keep today.
My artistic focus is the human figure, especially the emotions and stories hidden within a face. I am fascinated by the silent language of the eyes — the subtle expressions, memories, and inner worlds that can be revealed through a portrait. Through my paintings, I try to capture moments that exist somewhere between reality and imagination.
For me, painting is a deeply personal and meditative process. It is a way of slowing down, observing human nature, and exploring emotions that are often difficult to express with words. I am drawn to realism, impressionism, and surrealism, combining traditional painting techniques with a dreamlike atmosphere.
My work often explores themes of femininity, vulnerability, introspection, and the mysterious connection between the visible and invisible parts of human experience. I want my paintings to feel not only like images, but like encounters with another person, another story, or another moment in time.
