The occupation of convenience is always blurred; like the low resolution picture employed here to illustrate the work. There is no real substitute to seeing the work for real.. The influence of convenience culture on the surrounding landscape is extensive to say the least, shopping mals, housing, roads, nearly every building can be in some way attributed to an idea of 'convenience'. The whole landscape is being transformed around us, every day. Even 'wild' areas are sectioned off with convenient entry and exit routes. Or they become special exclusive areas, like a National Park for tourists to visit at their leisure. Conveniece is having a greater influence on the landscape than agriculture, or the industrial revolution, or world war. It is destined to extend to every part of the globe in time. An occupation implies a take over or a sit in, some kind of coup, this painting with its deliberately amateur lo-fi style and poor presentation paints a perspective on this 'occupation'. It is both an occupation and an occupation, in that it is a lifestyle and also a 'sit in' of high art principles. Tape Noise is a zero status project, please do not follow this page or like this painting, thank you.

Tape Noise represents a philosophical view, where art has died, challenging the predominate narrative no longer counts as art, monetary value has completely taken over, as the only significant criteria by which creativity is judged!
