ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Time is thing, that no one can catch. It flies slowly for someone and fast for another one. We kill time. We save time. We rob and get robbed of time, we lose time, and we have all the time in the world. But no one of us is powerful enough to stop the march of time or slow it down. But we can spend the time with pleasure and enjoy every moment of our lives. So, don’t waste the time in vain. I enjoy every second of working in my studio and creating new paintings and this one isn’t an exception. I used epoxy resin to create this painting, I used also dyes, texture pasta and gold leaf to add shine and beauty to my creating. And of course I attached decorative arrows and numbers to create this beautiful watch.

Hi! My name is Yuliia, and I am a Ukrainian artist. I am 33 years old. Currently, I live and work in my hometown, Ivano-Frankivsk, in the west of the country. I don't study an idea, I propagandize. I promote freedom in art, because above all, art should be free. My works are somewhat different, but they have the same center. Freedom in execution is also important, I wish I could paint a picture with one idea, and tomorrow I'll return to another. When there is freedom, then the soul and the mind paint, not the hands and eyes. In my works, I often use abstract elements or elements that are not fully defined (as they partially reflect freedom in performance (technique). Also, they give the viewer the opportunity to reveal their own imagination and vision. This freedom of thinking and execution, in turn, reflects the very idea I want to convey to the viewer. This topic has become the biggest pain for me, because I have been facing it since my study years - when the freedom of creative thinking is underestimated. Freedom exists in everything and there is no existence without it. Freedom of speech, territorial freedom, physical freedom, moral freedom, freedom of thought, financial freedom, gender freedom... Human freedom is my research
