Ocean Wave Painting

Nature inspired me with this peice the sheer power and beauty that is scene in the movement of a wave is something I really wanted to capture here. To give the viewer a feeling of what a huge wave is like, this can feel like like a wipe out as surfers call it. I want a viewer to feel caught in the wave clensed and in ore of what nature provides. I use Windsor and Newton Oil Paints these are mediums I'm the most comfortable with I love blending and creating fine detail. The subject is very much a matter I feel we should focus on the environment is very important and I think not enough is being done about our unhealthy planet. My style here is photorealisim because I wanted the true look and feel of the wave being portayed to the viewer.
