About The Artwork
One of a series of process paintings done through the month of October 2021. The work captures the feeling for light of that time of year as well as the choices in colour and shape that period of changing light and time inspired. The geometric elements attempt to create a limit to the chaos of free form colour and accident in the creation of the work. There is an abundance of layering in the work, as well as the use of iridescent and interference paints. This allows for the work to change with natural light, so the work would be best hung in a setting with plentiful access to daylight. ( All my works are finished with UV protective varnish. )
