Off Painting

Vibrant and calming work at the same time. It is a powerful, intense and energetic painting in its technique, in contrast to its relaxing motif. The reflex range of the acrylic medium has allowed me to give it that chromatic intensity that provides so much energy that it almost seems like you are looking at an LED screen. It represents a couple of modern young boys, with their striking neon-colored technical t-shirts, resting calmly in the sun, without worries, on a bright day, after having practiced some type of exercise or sport. They away from the rest of the world, in their privacy and complicity still in plain sight. I want the viewer to be able to feel the sun's rays on their skin and the grass under their back. I want the work to convey relaxation, calm, peace, a blank mind and happiness. The body tired, the mind rested. "The secret to good health is for the body to rest and the mind to rest." Hence its title "Off", off, disconnected. We need to release stress, empty our mind, rest our body and release tension. Because taking a break is necessary.
