Inspired by Oklahoma's Lake Tenkiller, a woman of American Indian ancestry takes in a peaceful moment as summer transitions into fall. Many people living in the Northeastern part of Oklahoma are descendants of the indigenous woodland peoples who call themselves Cherokees, including the artist who is a member of the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma.
