This nature contains my old phone and a cardoque plant that I let dry for a year.
It is made in oil of a single color on a laminate of a vanilla tone attached to
a board. It is a very slow technique since it is based on glazes.
Multiple transparent layers are configuring the work until reaching the darkest tones.
Always completely dry layers which greatly lengthens the execution of the work, but the tonalities and qualities that this technique offers me seems very interesting.
Only two elements, the telephone and a plant, are the protagonists of the painting. They are located on a shelf in my study.

Juan Alvarez Cebrian. Madrid, 1966. Start painting at a very young age and you will never stop drawing and painting. He also moves within the world of engraving for which he feels a great attraction. For Álvarez Cebrián the Engraving and the Drawing are deeply linked. His painting has always moved within the realistic framework but has made inroads into the world of abstraction. Photography is also part of his way of telling things, it is a great passion.
