True to my artistic approach, I've incorporated the concept of Dualism into this piece. Here, the "form" embodies the profound, enveloping darkness of the forest juxtaposed with the radiant moon in the night sky, enshrouding the lost deer. Meanwhile, "color" takes on a surreal quality, represented by the looming, mysterious presence of the dark wolves. The deep shadows cast by the wolves create a striking contrast against the luminous moon, orchestrating a harmonious and evocative dynamic alongside the beige deer. In years past, my wife and I were enroute to San Francisco when we detoured to drive through Yosemite Valley after dark. Upon arriving at the entrance, we unexpectedly encountered a lengthy queue of cars attempting to exit the park. Unable to turn around, we proceeded inside to later join the line to depart. Surrounded by deep, impenetrable forests, a tense and foreboding atmosphere permeated the scene. This fleeting, evocative moment of vulnerability amidst nature's juxtaposed allure and severity served as the inspiration for "Ominous". It was my aim to capture the emotions I experienced in that compelling and unsettling environment. Dualism is a distinctive technique where the "form" and "color" within a painting are deliberately isolated, each telling a unique tale, virtually creating two paintings in one.

As a kid I had a keen drawing skill. My father quickly took notice and pushed me to paint. Back in the days, we used to spend evenings painting together; my father, my mother, my sister, and me. I remember being very happy those days. Later on, I started experimenting with water colors, used as oils. I would use impressionistic style, with visible brush strokes and richness of colors. Later on, I captured interest in my work, and so my three first iconic works were sold: A commissioned art from a travel agency of a boy with a city seeing behind, a full body portrait of a businessman, and a wedding picture of a couple just wedded.
