About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by the idea of complementarity. In fine art it means shades which are opposite each other in the color circle. I love the combination of reds and cerulean blue, in a mixture they give a beautiful gray (which is what complementary colors should do) In philosophy, complementary points of view are those that are opposed and that together create a more complete view than each one individually. In genetics, it is a form of interaction of non-allelic genes, in which the simultaneous action of dominant genes gives a new trait.
