On the Peace River Painting

For most of the year in Florida, boating is a regular activity. I don't take it for granted. Whether it's a relaxing weekend, holiday or just an invite is a reason to get on a boat to enjoy the day on the water. Boating on any river in SW Florida is one of the most relaxing things a person can do to enjoy a beautiful day. Lucky for me I'm surrounded by water for a myriad of water activities. This painting is from a recollection I had in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. There wasn't much else we could do when dark fell - except think. When I was able to pick up my brushes and choose paints, I painted something that would be calming and serene. Here you have 'On the Peace River.' I hope this painting brings calm and serenity to the viewer as it had for me while I painted it. It is signed on the front, and it is signed dated, and titled on the back. It is already wired to hang in your home or office after delivery. It will come with a certificate of authenticity. The gold leaf is an imitation gold leaf. This painting is painted on the sides.
