On my Silk Road
Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

For the first time in my life, I found myself on the silk road in Uzbekistan. Almost a decade ago, in 1999, on my way to the Pamir mountains I was struck by the colorful cities, incredible ornaments that adorn buildings and harmoniously intertwine with architectural complexes. The place with a deep history and special energy.

After many trips around the world, I was lucky enough to return to Central Asia and get inspired to include some of the works in my project "Tranzit"
The Silk Road inspires me again with a deep history and endless source for exploring.

The painting is acrylic on canvas with the use of additional texture to simulate the texture of the walls, also several hand-cut stencils were used to create the ornament.

This painting is sold but I accept orders to create a new one.

Her motivation is to look for new effects, a new look at the expression of ideas, harmonious combinations of colors, shapes, a rhythm that cannot be repeated.
