One Last Ride Painting

There is nothing like a good oil painting; the presence it demands, the way it hangs, the smell of it— even better if it is a composition that captures deeper meaning or draws forth feelings of nostalgia. Since I was a boy I have always enjoyed the creative process, especially in those last few brush strokes or lines when everything comes together and life makes sense again. Art moves me. To be a part of that movement instills a profoundness in my life that keeps me sailing fervently for the horizon of my next creative endeavor.
