Freedom, since 9/11, is slowly disappearing and deteriorating right before our eyes. This painting illustrates how the common citizen has been imprisoned by those who rule over us, and how what we thought were our common freedoms, i.e. freedom of the press, freedom of speech, and privacy, has been jeopardize all in the name of fighting terrorism.
