About The Artwork

This painting is inspired by the legendary Formula One driver, Ayrton Senna, who died on the 1st of May 1994 in a car crash during the race in Imola Italy. Senna was a non conformist and always stood up against injustice. He always knew down deep that he will end his life on the race course.

Painting is an art form that dominated my life since my early childhood. My work evolved through time and life experiences. My work is influenced by environmental and world issues, music, forms and colors. In recent years my work become more geometrical trying to define my opinions and my feelings in a graphic interpretation. My work is large scale and mostly sold to private collectors. I am located in the Netherlands and my work studio is in Amstelveen.
