Cette peinture représente le plus grand carnivore terrestre : l’ours polaire. Victime de la pollution chimique, de l’exploitation du pétrole et du gaz, mais également du réchauffement climatique. C’est ainsi qu’il voit disparaître son lieu de chasse, de repos et de reproduction : La banquise. J’ai peint cet ours en l’imaginant dérivé en pleine mer sur cette glace moins épaisse qui l’emporte l’abandonnant à son triste sort. Nagera-t-il jusqu’à épuisement ne pouvant regagner la terre ferme ?
