About The Artwork
Pandan, as how it is called in my home country Malaysia, is the name of this leafy plant. It carries an unmistakable fragrance that is widely known for South East Asia residents. To me, now based in London, growing them on my window cill and smelling that scent could promptly set the clock back to my youth back in the countryside. Maybe somewhat because, my first name Sheaufei as given by my parents alludes to the fragrance of plant at dawn.
