About The Artwork
I was inspired by this movie called “The Shack”. The fathers younger daughter is kidnapped at the lake and she’s later killed by that person. But later on in the movie he’s invited back to the lake by “god”. He there receives healing and learns forgiveness. Also, he gets to see his daughter in heaven. I was inspired because I lost my father and I’d do anything to see him again. So to me, the lake represents hope. That one day I’ll see him again and know that he’s okay. I hope this piece speaks to you!
