Paolo Mancini was born in Naples in 1946 by Florentine parents from known artisan families of the Tuscan capital. Very soon he approaches to art as well and, after moving to Rome [...] he spends years of intensive preparatory work and refines his artistic skills [...]. Soon he comes to that familiar organization of figures, landscapes and objects that are proper to him. Sixteen, he exhibited his works in the art salon Accademia Urbis, earning the "Youth Award." After finishing his studies, he can finally devote himself to his commitment to painting, as well as teaching. The translucent quality of "his" color, lying on the stacked layers, the subtlety of lighting effects and the gradually increasing color-luministic factors come to an extraordinary "truth in making the reality", and will remain the essential and unmistakable imprint of his art that knows how to characteristically dissolve poetry in color, bringing us back in time within an "intimate atmosphere". He personally prepares, participates in group exhibitions in many cities of Italy [Rome, Rieti, San Severino Marche, Bari ...] In Florence Giancarlo Caldini (Academy of Fine Arts) enhances the quality and value of his work (Bolaffi, No. 15-1980). In Grosseto "Lo spicciolo” devotes the entire first page with the reproduction of the portrait “Mariagrazia” (oil on canvas - cm 50x40 - 1978). [...] "Yellow Club", a magazine of art and culture of the italian capital, with an article by Volckersberg, weaves the spirituality and importance of his paintings. "Il Tirreno", signed by Paul Pisani, speaks of his "still lifes that come to life from the brush," of "Maremma, from which he draws tones and lights creating particularly intense sensations." Gian Luigi Severini highlights the "subtle play and importance of color relationships. In 2016 he exhibited his works in Rovereto in a solo exhibition at the "Exhibition Center EG Armani" (formerly "Art Gallery Dusatti ') and art historian Elizabetta Rizzioli, author of numerous publications on Antonio Rosmini, enhances his artistic value.
