Este cuadro pertenece a una serie inspirada en el raciocinio de lo bello de pintar cuadros naturalistas. En mi razonamiento veo que los paisajes, bodegones o retratos tienen sectores donde se realza el logro del cuadro, con esto quiere decir que en muchas zonas de un cuadro naturalista se pinta una especie de relleno que acompaña las zonas mencionadas. Por eso en esta serie la solución encontrada es pintar más de un cuadro en una tela y solo pintar los sectores donde se realice el cuadro, dejándolo inconcluso sin la necesidad de pintar el sector donde iría el relleno y al mismo tiempo dejando un lugar para que se vea el otro cuadro de atrás, el cual expresa un objeto distinto. De ese modo todos las zonas de la tela quedan pintadas con con una serie de sectores elaborados que aportan magnificando la obra. Con esto logro que estos cuadros por más que sean en base naturalistas, se miren con una mirada característica de la abstracción. En esta pintura el ojo del espectador recorre la obra encontrando sectores agradables de ver, mientras que a diferencia de un paisaje la mirada se pierde en la obra, provocando la imaginación. Acá está retratado Borges, debido a que se realizó para exhibir en una exposición en el Centro Cultural Borges, de Buenos Aires. In my reasoning I see that landscapes, still lifes or portraits have sectors where the achievement of the painting is enhanced, with this it means that in many areas of a naturalistic painting a kind of filling is painted that accompanies the mentioned areas. That is why in this series the solution found is to paint more than one box on a canvas and only paint the sectors where the picture is made, leaving it unfinished without the need to paint the sector where the filling would go and at the same time leaving a place for see the other box in the back, which expresses a different object. In this way, all areas of the canvas are painted with a series of elaborate sectors that contribute to magnifying the work. With this, I achieve that these paintings, even if they are naturalistic, look at each other with a characteristic look of abstraction. In this painting, the viewer's eye travels through the work, finding pleasant sectors to see, while unlike a landscape, the gaze is lost in the work, provoking the imagination. Borges is portrayed here, because it was made to exhibit in an exhibition at the Borges Cultural Center in Buenos Aires.
