On a sunny day the dahlias in the Bronx Botanical Garden were swaying in the breeze, and the flowers on the same branch were like happy siblings happy to hang out together, to sway in the breeze together, to gossip, to blossom... Just like a human family and siblings they were happy to be together, and the painting brings the same positive emotions, the excitement of being happy together in the sun.
