About The Artwork
The works dated 2023 address two issues of our present time: climate change and migration. Both present us with epochal upheavals that concern us and that we cannot ignore. I have expressed my sensitivity to them in two series: "Paradise Lost" and "Peoples on the move/On the move". This work belongs to the 2nd series, "People on the move/On the move". Here I try to imagine our Future. I mean to bring watchers to consider the present changes and the catastrophic events people are lately experiencing all over the World. They take us by surprise and worry us. "People on the Move" hints, both in the pictorial flow and by means of different symbols (shoes, animals, plates, hats, bags, etc.), at our daily life. A life that we fear will be overturned by the impending change.
