This painting has been incredibly well received. It sold before it was even finished, although prints are now available. It is called Permission to Feel, because. as it was sitting on the easel, freshly finished a client said - I really like this work. To which I replied, why do you like it? She stood there thoughtfully for a little while and said ' it makes me feel." I then asked her what or how it made her feel. She replied, " It gives me permission to feel my feelings"
