Petrichor 1.2. Painting

My inspiration for this image came from daily life in the city. I like clean lines in architecture as well as the fact that even the clearest edges sometimes blur when night falls or fog rolls in. The space between the cubist shapes is slightly distorted, but as in life, sometimes there are distortion effects. The gray and tan areas suggest spaces where we all live - sometimes together, sometimes alone. From time to time these spaces intersect, come together and form something new, or drift apart. At the very end, despite the gray colors, the painting shows a serenity that reminds us of the positive in life. Concrete and asphalt is gray, rain can hit the mind. But we all love the smell of summer rain on concrete floor. P1.2. is a part of the Petrichor Series consisting of three paintings.
