Phase space study 9: mind in matter and matter in mind Painting

Mind in matter and matter in mind is an oil sketch in some respects akin to the "Where's Wally?" series. However, its more a "where are the wally's." There one anthropocentric figure that stands out most of all to me. This mannish humanoid I saw as a point of self reference attempting to determine his own destiny (freedom to be whatever (x), his reason for being-doing and doing-being) in the face of the anarchic conglomeration of everybody else's destinies; and their respective existential economies of scale (the individual, the few, the group, the local, the meta-universal) So the notion of fate and being punished by The Fates is nothing more than a failure to actualise one's dreams in the face of everybody else's desire to be someone or something else ( the "it" the (x) the unique the big man the boss the man...) Destiny on the other hand is the triumph of the individual will to actualise ones desires in spite of everybody else's will to reify their own dreams... But no dreams can come true without a shared sense of destiny, the consequence of this being mutual aid... I see none in the painting. And as a monkey brained species we have yet to coordinate our efforts in the attainment of universal peace prosperity and harmony.
