About The Artwork
I am inspired by nature, especially Philippine Eagle a giant forest raptor endemic to the Philippines. It is considered to be one of the three largest and most powerful eagles in the world. Unfortunately, it is also one of the world’s rarest and certainly among its most critically endangered vertebrate species in the country. According to Salvador, the reason for this was due to massive deforestation. ... critically endangered species because the loss of the forest had made it lose its natural habitat.” Eagle is the top predator of the Philippine tropical rainforest. It plays an important role in keeping the ecosystem in balance and provides an umbrella of protection to all other life forms in its territory.
