This dusk-into-dark scene was inspired by a recent trip to Scotland. This was a quiet spot on the Isle of Skye near the Snizort River. Pink, cool, peace, quiet and calm. It may have been an actual place that inspired this painting, yet it reminds me of other special, quiet evening places that bring to mind a feeling of gratitude. Gratitude for my life and for the natural world around me.
