About The Artwork
I created this painting as a tribute to the natural beauty of the mountains. I wanted to capture these towering peaks' raw power and untamed wilderness. As I worked on the canvas, I felt a sense of awe and reverence for the landscape that inspired me. Looking at this painting, I feel a sense of peace and tranquility. Something calming about the stillness of the mountains is the way they stand silent and unchanging against the passage of time. Yet, there is also a sense of adventure and excitement, as if the mountains are calling out to be explored and conquered. Overall, this painting evokes a sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of the natural world. After graduating from National University with a Master's in Politology and Sociology, she started to oil paint in 2013 as a self-taught artist influenced by great artists like Aivazovsky. Life is good ;) She is especially interested in oil landscapes (ocean and seascape) and has always been passionate about flowers - these are the main thematic focus of all her works.
