painting/watercolour and oil pastel, 22 x 22 cm ink, Japanese pigment paint, acrylic, oil pastel on watercolour board (Hahnemühle 450 g GSM acid free), finished with UV-and scratch protections spray This painting is: signed on the backside. painted every side about 1 cm larger than the actual picture, these margins will prevent damage from the edges. margins are marked on the corners to hang; requires a passepartout and frame. I usually work on multi panel pictures. One picture with multiple domains. Connection and separation are the subject of my consideration. How can I make different territories on one sheet of paper? I tried this with different materials and surfaces. The windmill pattern harmonizes two areas of different characters. But not a heavy windmill, against such Don Quixote fought. I thought of a toy windmill, a colorful pinwheel which turns lightly in the breeze.

Indefinable forms on my paintings are “potential” like the first stroke of a line at a beginning of a drawing. People reveal themselves in amazing way by wondering what this form might be. Some visitors of my exhibition saw fish in my paintings – their minds could swim in my paintings. Some saw birds in my paintings – their minds could fly in my paintings. Others recalled their playing in their childhood. What a beautiful feeling that these visitors have made me feel! A work of art will be completed by a relationship that an audience creates with it. Many questions do not have an easy answer. Only the answer that you find is the right one for you. I keep asking myself the questions. People say a painting resembles a window; you watch a world through it. What do you see when a painting has been painted on several canvases? What divides a world or connects worlds? I want to provide a space, where you can find something valuable in yourself. Graphic elements such as colours and lines will guide you and give impulse and energy.
