Pioggia di Raggi 光の雨 Painting

Akiko Kayano is a contemporary art painter, born in Tokyo, Japan. She primarily uses traditional Japanese technique ‘Nihonga’ ; employing pigments derived from natural materials ( minerals, shells, chorales and even semi precious stones like azurite ) and silver or gold leaf. After graduated in painting ‘Nihonga’ at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts, moved to Florence, Italy in 1995. She attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, initially studying more abstract painting, she graduated a doctorate in Painting. Akiko Kayano making artistic exhibition of many country’s: Japan, America, Italy, Latvia, China and South Korea. She also works concept performance art. Currently lives and works of artistic activity in Prato, Italy.
