Hector “NICER” Nazario Born in the late 1960’s during the dawning of Hip Hop; when music, art, poetry, dance, and fashion, would forever transform into a global phenomenon. During the 1970’s as a young boy, with his creative gift of illustration still developing, Hector would immerse himself into his own worlds of wonder using any medium he could find. He would transform his South Bronx neighborhood playground of abandoned buildings, cars, and trucks, into magical places***. As a teenager in the 1980’s Hip Hop would captivate Hector, luring him with intense colors, silhouettes, and creativity known as Graffiti. From Subway trains to walls*****. As one of the founding members of “TAT Crew”**** It was his first official introduction to the art world. ***At the end off the Subway Painting movement that propelled the TAT crew into subculture stardom, the members split and went their own ways, Three remained, NICER, BIO, and BG183. his two childhood painting partners vowed to continue to do what they’d loved, painting. ***Forming the first Graffiti Company of its kind in 1996, “TATS CRU, INC” their main objective was to show Graffiti as a viable Art form.
