The most incredible experience I have ever witnessed was the birth of my son and I was in awe of the female body, how it changes, adapts and the lifeline that the placenta plays. This is why I chose to make prints of this amazing organ. "The tree of life" The process.. After cleaning most of the placenta I painted black paint over it and then laid the paper over the top. Lightly pressing the back of the paper which reveals the "The tree of life" then repeating the process to make the "Placenta forest"
