This painting was inspired by my visiting of Pompeii. I walked there and thought: how did people live a day BEFORE, August 23, year 79? I started this picture a few months ago, it just didn’t work out for me... And suddenly I realized: this is not only Pompeii, this is 6th of October 2023 in Israel. Silence, and no one yet knows WHAT is about to happen:((((
