I really love the old cities. I like their textures, the lines of houses, streets. Sometimes they look like abstractions. I see harmony in their geometry and rhythms. I love close-ups. I also like to stylize shapes decoratively. The painting is called "Portal". It depicts a passage into the depths, movement is felt. Its colored, geometric planes are similar to parts of a kaleidoscope, and if you make a movement, it seems that the picture will change. Perhaps this is how you can travel in this city of fantasy and transformation. Painted in oil on linen canvas. The painting has an texture from a thick layer of paint that highlights some details where needed.
